She was predeceased by: her husband Luigi Garofalo; her parents, Joseph B. Bento and Maria Bento (Costa); and her brother Joseph Bento. She is survived by: her children, Laura Sousa (Bruce) of Bristol and John J. Spencer of Pawtucket; her grandchildren, Kristen, Joshua, Sean and Kaitlyn; and her close friend Edward Degrandpre of Cranston. She is also survived by niece and nephew.
