He was predeceased by: his parents, Amancio Sr. Lopes and Elvira Lopes (Texeira). He is survived by: his wife Maria Lopes (Costa); his children, Steven Lopes (Kolleen Dossantos), Aurelia Moretti-Lopes (Tammy) of New Bedford, MA and Lucy Trudell (Albert) of Port St; and his siblings, Manuel Lopes (Maria) of Warren, RI, Antonio Lopes (Francelina) of Warren, RI, Elvira Viera (Luciano) of Warren, RI, Fatima Gomes (Swansea) and Connie Lopes of Bristol. He is also survived by ten grandchildren with one on the way and four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
