He was predeceased by: his parent Joao Carvalho; and his sibling Zelia Ferreira. He is survived by: his spouse Maria P. Vieira (Dutra); his parent Maria Carvalho (Dos Anjos); his sons, Adelino D. Vieira of Bristol and Joseph M. Vieira of Warren; and his siblings, Ilda Ferreira, Amelia Magina and Maria Ormondo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
