She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Kennedy; her parents, Clavert A. Leatherwood and Gertrude L. Leatherwood (Tippit); her son Michael Kennedy; and her siblings, Calvert Leatherwood, Juanita Cordeiro and Hazel Tankersly.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Tefft of Richmond, Karin Porter of Wakefield, Todd Kennedy of Warwick, Robbin Gross of Morro Bay, CA and Sandra Bayes. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.
