He was predeceased by: his wife Louise Chappell (Faella); his parents, Chester Chappell and Alice Chappell (Cassidy); and his brothers, Chester, Conrad and Richard Chappell.
He is survived by: his son David Chappell (Michela); his grandchildren, Haley (Kelse) and John Chappell; and his great grandchildren, Evelynn and Sam. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
