She was predeceased by: her husband Ernest J. Lacroix, Jr.; her parents, Caetano J. Almeida and Mary Almeida; her great grandchild Abigail Grace Allard; and her siblings, George Almeida, Evelyn Albert, Edith Pacheco, William Almeida, Alice Watson, Lorraine Michael and Lucille Rebello.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Keaney (Jack) of Warwick, Suzanne Mello (Walter) of Lincoln, Ernest J. Lacroix, III (Diane) of Pawtucket and Steven Lacroix of Wakefield; and her grandchildren, Matthew, Eric Allard, Ernest J. Lacroix, IV, Stefanie Mezzanotte, Ashley Curley, Courtney Cambio and Joseph Simonian. She is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren.
She worked at the former Tessier's Gift Shop, Bartley's Pharmacy and most recently as a cashier at Stop & Shop until the youthful age of 86 years, only retiring due to the Covid Pandemic.
