It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gail Birchell of Wakefield, Rhode Island, who passed away on January 31, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gail Birchell to pay them a last tribute.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Gail may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roland Brisson and Anna Brisson (Phinney); her daughter Lori A. Brown; and her sisters, Ann Caswell and Susan Berry.
She is survived by: her sons, Scott A. Dowd and Wayne K. Dowd; and her close friend Robert Greene. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Avery-Storti Funeral Home (88 Columbia St, Wakefield, RI 02879).
