He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Schmitt and Frida Schmitt; and his wife Beverly Schmitt (Bitzer). He is survived by: his daughter Susan Schwab (Steve) of Narragansett; and his grandchildren, Maggie, Drew and Brady Schwab.
