Stewart A. Marquis Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Stewart A. Marquis of Tiverton, Rhode Island, born in Seekonk, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 25, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Stewart shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Stewart farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. W. Marquis and Dorothy Marquis (Arnold). He is survived by: his significant other Sheila DeFrank; and his siblings, Barbara Aronhalt of Rhode Island, John Marquis of Georgia and Scott Marquis of Vermont. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Donations in lieu of flowers may be made in Stew's memory to (a) B Free Farm, an animal sanctuary in Tiverton run by a neighbor and friend, to assist in continuing his good works (bfreefarm.com), or (b) All Hands and Hearts, a disaster relief organization for whom Stew volunteered on several projects with his usual boundless energy and generous heart (allhandsandhearts.org).
