He was predeceased by: his parents, Doris Buchanan (Lemieux) and Raymond Buchanan. He is survived by: his wife Christine Buchanan (Oliveira); his children, Scott D. Buchanan (Melanie), Jennifer Nientimp (Jared) and Jessica Buchanan (Joda); his grandchildren, Alexandra R. Buchanan, Skylah R. Buchanan, Joel Niemtimp and Noah Nientimp; and his siblings, Raymond Buchanan (Evelyn) and Karen Ferreira (Ronnie).
