Muriel Reynolds Obituary
Muriel L. (Bouchard) Reynolds, age 95, passed away at home on Saturday, December 30th, 2023. She was the beloved wife of the late Alton "Al" Reynolds, to whom she had been married for 62 years. Born in Fall River, MA, Muriel was the daughter of the late Pierre and Blanche (Cote) Bouchard. An adventurous traveler, skier and independent career girl in her youth, once married, she resided in Tiverton, RI, for over 60 years, busy raising her three sons and later participating in church and community events. In addition to her husband and sons, Muriel had a large circle of friends who were also like family. Together, they all enjoyed camping, dancing, snowmobiling, traveling across the country, and beautiful times in their shared getaway spot in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Muriel loved the beach and spent many summers at the family's Westport Point, MA seaside cottage. She enjoyed a wonderful retirement with her husband, Al, and close friends in Sarasota, Florida, for over two decades. A whiz at Mahjong, she loved playing at the Tiverton Library and in Florida.
Surviving her are her sons Mark Reynolds (Michelle) of Portsmouth, RI, Peter Reynolds (Suzanne) of Tiverton, and her daughter-in-law Tracey Enos Reynolds of Florida. Muriel was a fun-loving Memere to her grandchildren. Her first-born grandson Adam (Jumarie) of Tiverton spent many weekends crabbing and enjoying the waves with his Memere. She was also blessed with the little girl she always wanted when the golden-haired Sara Reynolds Pavao (Anthony) of Florida was born, and they shared a very special bond. In her final years, her Grandson Darren and wife Maissam, who lived with her, provided her the love, safety, and comfort of residing in her own home. Memere Muriel was also the proud Great-Grandmother of three girls and two boys. In addition to her husband, she is predeceased by her son, Kevin M. Reynolds, and her brother, Ronald P. Bouchard, both of Tiverton, and her brother, Peter Bouchard, of New Hampshire.
Her Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 20th at 11:00 AM at Saint Theresa's Church, Stafford Road, Tiverton. Relatives and friends are invited to join directly at the Church.
