Marilyn J. Gendreau Obituary
We bid farewell to Marilyn J. Gendreau of Tiverton, Rhode Island, born in Fall River, Massachusetts, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 27, 2024 at the age of 89. Marilyn touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond A. Gendreau; and her parents, Joseph Stys and Jennie Stys (Dyll). She is survived by: her caregiver Truesdale Hospital; her children, Raeanne Alves (Barry) of Rehoboth, MA, Ann Louise Torres (John) of Dighton, MA, Thomas Gendreau (Paula) of Dartmouth, MA and Mary Ellen Gendreau of Somerset, MA.; her grandchildren, Marissa (Brian), Andrew (Laura), Christopher (Holly) and Courtney Alves; and her great grandchildren, Conner, Quinn Alves and Andrew Torres (AJ).
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Boule Funeral Home (615 Broadway, Fall River, MA 02724). A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 8:45 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Madeleine Church (35 Lake Rd, Tiverton, RI 02878).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Southcoast VNA Hospice and Tiverton Public Library.
