She was predeceased by: her spouse Alfred Cruz; and her parent Jose Araujo. She is survived by: her parent Cecilia G. Araujo (Terceira); her children, Cecilia P. Cruz of Tiverton, RI and John P. Cruz of Fall River; her son-in-law Ernest P. Smith; her grandchildren, Ashley R. Cruz, Josh Benevides and Austin J. Cruz; and her great grandchild Sylas J. Armstrong. She is also survived by six step-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
