He was predeceased by: his parent Joseph Almeida, Sr.; and his sibling Mary Lou Pavao. He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Almeida (Aguiar); his parent Laurentina Almeida (Dias); his sons, Jason J. Almeida (Stephanie) of Dighton, MA and Brian K. Almeida (Wendy) of Tiverton, RI; his siblings, Louise Bettencourt of Somerset, MA, Manuel Almeida and Fernando Almeida; and his grandchildren, Brian Jr., Zakary, Stone, Abbey, Ryleigh, Ethan, Aiden and Brooke. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
