He was predeceased by: his spouse Mary DeHass; his parent Thomas DeHass; and his siblings, Thomas DeHass, William DeHass and Dixie Yaney.

He is survived by: his parent Norma DeHass; his friends, Alfred Ragas and Sadie; his children, James DeHass, Theresa Boivin (Brad), Michael DeHass (Myra), Richard DeHass (Michelle), Daniel DeHass (January) and Tara DeHass (Matthew Roderiques); and his sisters, Judy DeHass and Beatrice Leckwart of New Castle, PA..
