She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Brodeur and Antoinette Brodeur (Gelinas); her siblings, H. Albert Brodeur, Terry Sleeper, Bea Ouellette, Doris Helger, Armand, Alfred, Louise, Gerald Brodeur, Juliette Conway and Rose Cote-Teal; and her friend Virginia Hurt (Aunt Jinny). She is also survived by many nieces & nephews, great nieces & nephews, and great-great nieces & nephews.

In recognition of outstanding contributions to her profession and the Marquis Who's Who community, Germaine has been featured on the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement website.
