He was predeceased by: his wife Evelyn M. Bento (Leite); his parents, Isabella Bento (Cambra) and Manuel Bento; his daughter Susan Arruda; and his brother Raymond.
He is survived by: his son Donald J. Bento; his grandchildren, David, Ryan, April Bento and Jennifer Arruda; and his brother Alfred Bento.
