She was predeceased by: her parents, George G. Heath and Margaret M. McCracken Desmarias (Heath); her husband Richard Toolin; her former husband Edward A. Fitzgerald; and her siblings, George Gordon Heath of Lebanon, CT, Evelyn Francis Heath of Alvin, TX and Romalene Desmarias of Broad Brook, CT..
She is survived by: her children, John Fitzgerald (Elizabeth) of Fort Myers, FL, Laura Fitzgerald Coristine (Keith) of Newport, RI and Shannon Wright (Dennis) of Kansas City, MO; her stepchildren, Wendy Toolin Breau (Steve) of Toronto, Ontario and R. Scott Toolin of Carver, MA; her sister Rita Heath Branton of Alvin, TX.; her pets, Sebastian, Danny and Sammy; and her caregivers, Felicia, Ashleigh, Cathy, Anne, Kathy and Rhonda. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the O'Neill-Hayes Funeral Home (465 Spring St, Newport, RI 02840).
