Alfred J. Costa Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alfred J. Costa of Tiverton, Rhode Island, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 22, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Antone Costa and Mary Costa (Viveiros); and his siblings, Mary Mederios, Edward Costa, Manuel Costa, Antone Costa Jr., Joseph Costa, Elsie Ferreira and Robert Costa.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy B. Costa (Raposa); his sons, Alfred J. Costa Jr. (Martha) and Mark A. Costa (Lauri); his siblings, James Costa, George Costa and Marion Mayo; his grandchildren, Stephanie (Christoper Gibson), Marci, Bradley, Alexander (Shannon McKenna), Ryan, Danielle (Gregory Martin) and Nicholas; and his great grandchild Matthew Plutzner. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Silva-Faria Funeral Home (730 Bedford St, Fall River, MA 02720). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Theresa's Church (265 Stafford Rd, Tiverton, RI 02878).
