He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Simon G. Harootian Sr. and Margaret Harootian (Ansbigian); his sister Carol Harootian; and his wife Roberta J. Harootian (Benoit). He is survived by: his children, Simon "Gidge" G. Harootian III (Sue), Danielle J. Chevalier (Andy) and Mark A. Harootian (Sarah DeRosa); and his grandchildren, Gavin, Zachary, Trevor, Amelia and Dylan.
