She was predeceased by: her parents, William Tierney and Lillian Costello; and her siblings, William Tierney and Laura Butler (Tierney). She is survived by: her husband Alan Butler; her children, Gregory (Linda), Jeffrey, Marylou and Brian (Elise Hamann); her grandchildren, Allison Carmichael, Sean Carmichael (Jessica Maynard), Brittany MacNaillias (Colm), Connor Butler, Casey Butler, Austin Butler (Johanna DeVries), Meredith Butler (Dillon Fisher), Cameron Butler, Brendan Butler, Brady Butler and Annie Louise Butler; and her great grandchild Liam MacNaillais. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 8:45 AM at the Avery-Storti Funeral Home (88 Columbia St, Wakefield, RI 02879). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Church (114 High St, Wakefield, RI 02879).
