He was predeceased by: his parents, John Flaherty and Martha Flaherty (Jones). He is survived by: his spouse John B. McGillivray; and his brothers, Edward Flaherty (Donna), James Flaherty and Stephen Flaherty. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
