It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William E. Schecher (Smithfield, Rhode Island), born in Downs, Kansas, who passed away on December 5, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Patricia Schecher (Sullivan); his parents, Norbert Schecher and Mary Frances Schecher (Kelly); and his brother Norbert. He is survived by: his sons, Norbert (Ana) of Smithfield and James Schecher (Gina) of Franklin, MA; his grandchildren, David, Briana (Damian Walsh), Vanessa, Cristina and Timothy; his great grandchildren, Jayden and Juliana; and his brother James Schecher.
