It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilfred Giroux of Smithfield, Rhode Island, born in Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on February 2, 2021, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph E. Giroux and G. Yvonne Giroux (Emin); and his brother Robert. He is survived by: his spouse Lauren A. Giroux (Bouchard); his sons, Jeremy Sylvia (Doug), Christopher Giroux (Jessie) and Kevin Giroux (Tori); his grandchildren, Louis, Myles, Faith, Eric and Lily Giroux; and his siblings, Paul Giroux, Patricia, Norma Giroux, Stephen, John Giroux and Carol Houle.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Michael Church Social Justice Committee.
