With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia Nero (Smithfield, Rhode Island), who passed away on May 1, 2020. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Virginia Nero to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John B. Coleman and Mary Alice Coleman (Kane); and her siblings, Mary Alice Holmes, Joseph Coleman and John Coleman.

She is survived by: her husband Ernest "Cal" Nero; her children, Richard W. Nero (Rebecca), Linda A. Nuzzo, Susanne Travisono (Richard), Jeffrey W. Nero, Stephanie Mosca (Angelo) and Pennie Nero; her grandchildren, Anthony Nero, Nicholas Nuzzo, Angelo Mosca IV, Shaina Nero, Marissa Nero, Isabella Mosca, Madison Travisono and Kyle Nero; her sister-in-law Regina Carter; and her niece Gina Marie Conti.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
