He was predeceased by: his parents, John R. McSweeney and Joan F. McSweeney (Coffey); and his sister Jacqueline M. Lussier. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen R. McSweeney (Ewing); and his children, Cory McSweeney of Chepachet, Ashley Pinheiro of Miami, FL, Amanda Lansing of West Warwick, Nicholas McSweeney of North Smithfield and Emily McSweeney of North Smithfield.
