With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert R. Gilbert of Smithfield, Rhode Island, born in Central Falls, Rhode Island, who passed away on May 13, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Bertha Gilbert. He is survived by: his wife Sandra L. Gilbert (Pierini); his children, Kelly Gilbert of Woonsocket and Jarrad Gilbert (Spring) of Chepachet; his grandchildren, Rhyannon, Simone, Aiden, Khory, Kendahl, Annabelle, Jason, Jakob and Liam; and his great grandchild Oakley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
