Rita A. Medeiros Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita A. Medeiros of Smithfield, Rhode Island, who passed away on September 7, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Steve P. Medeiros; her parents, George T. LaCroix and Rita LaCroix; her brother Alfred LaCroix; and her grandson Curtis Ficarrotta.
She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Ficarrotta of Las Vegas, Pamela Medeiros of Smithfield and Michelle Medeiros (Sal Ficarrotta Jr.) of Henderson, NV.; and her grandchildren, Erica Berovides, Justin, Steven, Salvatore and Victoria Ficarrotta. She is also survived by four great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Roger Williams Park Zoo.
