It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Louise Beattie of Smithfield, Rhode Island, born in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, who passed away on May 29, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph R. Fugere and Margaret M. Fugere (Manning); her husband George L. Beattie; and her siblings, Joseph M. Fugere and Anne Marie Lakeway (Fugere).
She is survived by: her children, Joanne B. Compton (Charles) of Smithfield, Thomas G. Beattie (Debra) of Warwick, Paul L. Beattie of Lombard, IL and Joseph R. Beattie of Johnston. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
