We are sad to announce that on December 20, 2020, at the age of 91, Leala Read of Smithfield, Rhode Island, born in Central Falls, Rhode Island passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Owen R. Read; and her parents, Louis Sayegh and Alma Sayegh (Gora). She is survived by: her children, Michael Read (Darlene), Kathie Ballantyne (Bruce) and Carolyne Wildman; her grandchildren, Kaitlyn Siner-Cappas, Kyle Siner, Alexis and Cassidy Wildman; her stepgranddaughter Brittany Ballantyne; and her siblings, Lorice Salem and Leroy Sayegh.
Due to Covid restrictions, her funeral and burial will be private.
