With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lawrence Shapiro (Smithfield, Rhode Island), born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on April 17, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Judy Shapiro (Liffman); his parents, Irving Shapiro and Anna Shapiro; his children, Randi Shapiro and Kevin Shapiro (Cynthia); his stepchildren, Sandi Brenner (Jeremy) and Michael Darter (Jodi); his grandchildren, Erik, Alexander Brenner, Jacob Darter and Ellianna Shapiro; and his brothers, Stanley Shapiro (Sandy) and Bruce Shapiro.
