He was predeceased by: his wife Alice Piti (English); his parents, Carmelo Piti and Vittoria Piti (Ferlazzo); and his brother Henry Piti. He is survived by: his children, Kathleen Zange, Bill of Smithfield, Cheryl D'Alessio, Glenn of Smithfield, Debra LaButti (Chris) of Glocester, Richard Piti (Donna) of Smithfield and Gerard Wagner of Johnston; his siblings, Carmela Factor of West Greenwich, Anna Sundstrom of Coventry and Nicholas Piti of Smithfield; his close friend Dolores "Dee" Detri; and his sisters, Josephine Chiodine and Mary Iafrate. He is also survived by his 14 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren.
