He was predeceased by: his sisters, Catherine Grundy and Donna Raymond. He is survived by: his wife Mary (Deleppo); his children, Benjamin M. Grundy of Smithfield and Miranda R. Grundy of Smithfield; and his siblings, Thomas Grundy (Cathy) of Smithfield, David Grundy (Susan) of Narragansett, Daniel Grundy (Colleen) of Indialantic, FL, Barbara Bouchard (Michael) of South Kingstown, Patricia Malachowski (Richard) of Warwick and Gail Hagerty of South Kingstown. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to St. Michael's Church or the church food pantry.
