He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph E. Giroux and Gertrude Yvonne Giroux (Emin); and his brother Robert. He is survived by: his wife Denise Giroux (Reilly); his children, Jason Giroux, Christine Leite and James Giroux; and his siblings, Wilfred, Paul Giroux, Patricia, Norma Giroux, Stephen Giroux and Carol Houle. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
