With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Badessa (Smithfield, Rhode Island), who passed away on January 30, 2025. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Badessa to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John D. Badessa and Marie B. Badessa (Basso) of Providence; and his sibling Lynn Pacheco-Lemois of West Warwick. He is survived by: his close friend Linda Campbell of Smithfield; his children, John Badessa (Melissa) of Haines City, FL and Kimberly Ferrante of Narragansett; his siblings, Robert Badessa of Scituate, Steven Badessa of West Warwick and Tracy Morgan of Warwick; and his granddaughters, Liliana Badessa, Madison Hagan and Savannah Hagan. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home (2 Church St, Greenville, RI 02828). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Providence Permanent Firefighters Relief Association at P.O. Box 28054, North Station Providence, RI 02908.
