He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Carl V. Perkins and Clara Perkins; his wife Rose Merlino Perkins; his children, Jennifer Perkins Moran, Susan Perkins Roberts and John Merlino Perkins; his children-in-law, Matt Moran, Brad Roberts and Julia Perkins; and his grandchildren, Kelly Rose Helgesen, Matthew Moran, Dylan Moran, Lucia Perkins, Abigail Perkins, Lauren Roberts and Joanna Hueber.
In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
