She was predeceased by: her husband John L. "Bud" Strain; her parents, Thomas Bohan and Mary Bohan (Moran); and her son-in-law John Gibbons. She is survived by: her children, Joanne M. Gibbons of North Smithfield, Kathleen J. Martel (Mark) of Cumberland and John L. Strain III (Donna) of West Warwick; and her grandchildren, Sean-Patrick O'Brien, John "Jake" Gibbons (Kimberly), Allison Gibbons, Samantha Strain and Michael Strain.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home (2 Church St, Greenville, RI 02828). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Philip Church (622 Putnam Pike, Greenville, RI 02828).
