With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jeanne E. McWilliams of Smithfield, Rhode Island, born in Providence, Rhode Island, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 31, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Daniel J. McWilliams; her parents, Guy M. Gagnier and Anna A. Gagnier (Caron); and her siblings, Guy Gagnier and Anne Mullery.
She is survived by: her children, Jean M. Desrosiers (Richard) of Coventry, Maureen A. Morel (Keith) of West Warwick, Cathleen S. Bonetti (Michael) of Warwick and Christine G. Gould (Christopher) of North Smithfield; her grandchildren, Timothy Morel (Rachel Aiello), Nicholas Morel, Bradley Gould and Meghan Gould (Dariusz Puzanowski); and her sister Muriel Derosier.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home (2 Church St, Greenville, RI 02828). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Michael's Church (80 Farnum Pike, Smithfield, RI 02917).
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to St. Michael's Church.
