He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Doherty and Ellen W. Doherty (Helen) of Johnston; and also Narragansett. He is survived by: his significant other Marlene Dalessio; his children, Holly Tartaglia (Michael Tartaglia), Hayley, Zach and Mikey; his sister Elaine Davis (Ron Davis); his nephew Craig Zimmer; his wife Beatriz Zimmer; his children, Alejandra, Mathew and Nick; and his nephew Brett Davis (Jessica Davis) of Annapolis, MD. He is also survived by friends will be in attendance, including Jim's long-time, dear friend.
