He was loved and cherished by many people including: his significant other Katherine Schiano; his daughters, Tara Seger, Michaela Klepadlo and Alyssa Drake; his sons-in-law, Daniel Seger, Matthew Klepadlo and Zachary Drake; his grandsons, Owen Seger and Matthew Klepadlo Jr.; and his parents, Gerald Schiano and Nancy Schiano (D'Ambra).
