George Arruda Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Arruda (Smithfield, Rhode Island), born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, who passed away on February 15, 2019. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his spouse Jeanne Arruda (Haley); and his parents, Antone V. Arruda and Lydia Arruda (Carvalho). He is survived by: his children, Lynn-Marie Arruda of Warwick, Barbara Geisman (Eric) of Pawtucket, Helen Neves (Mark) of Warwick, Robert Arruda (Elizabeth) of East Greenwich and Steven Arruda of Providence; his sister Barbara Higgins of North Providence; and his pet Bischa. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
