It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Frank R. Bursie of Smithfield, Rhode Island, born in Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on January 17, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Matteo Bursie and Mildred "Millie" Bursie (Pezzi); and his sister Janice Ruszkowski. He is survived by: his wife Cathy M. Bursie (Buffi); his sons, Sgt. Brandon M. Bursie, P. D. (Fallon) and Brett J. Bursie (Stephanie); his granddaughters, Madelyn and Francesca "Frankie"; and his nephew Donald. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, and brothers-in-law.
