She was predeceased by: her husband George H. Bowers; and her father John W. Smith. She is survived by: her daughters, Kathleen Gould (Ray) of Daytona Beach, FL, Maureen "Micki" Gallagher (Fred Stone) of Smithfield, Patricia Eddy (John) of Walden, VT and Susan Nolin (Richard) of Warwick; and her grandchildren, Jenifer Dube, Dennis Gallagher II, Jessica Jeror, Michael Eddy, Matthew Eddy, Katie Orabona and Julio Cresci II. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home (2 Church St, Greenville, RI 02828). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Michael's Church (80 Farnum Pike, Smithfield, RI 02917).
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
