He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph A. Mitchell and Elvera L. Mitchell (Arens). He is survived by: his son Daniel E. Mitchell; his daughter-in-law Theresa; his grandsons, Jack, Bennett, Wyatt and Owen Mitchell of Cranston; his brothers, Richard Mitchell and John Mitchell; his sisters-in-law, Cathy of Providence and Judy of Davenport, Florida; his former wife Maryann LaCascio (Cartwright) of Lincoln; and also Elaine of Lincoln. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
