He was predeceased by: his parents, James Higgins and Elizabeth Higgins (Markey); his son Christopher Higgins; and his brother James Higgins. He is survived by: his wife Dawn M. Ferraro Higgins; his child Chelsie Higgins of Warwick; his sister Marybeth Higgins of Warwick; his stepdaughter Emma Ferraro of Smithfield; his cousin Mike Bowie; and his grandchildren, Gian and Christopher. He is also survived by cousins and nieces.
