He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Francis and Hilda M. Francis (DeCosta); and his brother Walter A. Francis. He is survived by: his wife Janet Francis (Schaff); his daughters, Dawn Simons (Robert) of Smithfield and Kristen Caine of Smithfield; and his grandsons, Robert Simons IV, Patrick Simons, Michael Caine, Matthew Simons and Thomas Caine.
