It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Delphine Vanasse of Smithfield, Rhode Island, who passed away on September 23, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Charles T. Vanasse, Sr.; her parents, Joseph Finlay and Mary Finlay; her son Jeffrey Vanasse of Johnston; and her siblings, George Finlay, Grace Williams, Hugh Finlay, Sarah Picard, Dorothy Dorgan, Alfonse "Sonny" Finlay, Mildred Hamel, Mary Babilewicz and William "Billy" Finley.
She is survived by: her children, Charles T. Vanasse, Jr. of Smithfield, Kevin Vanasse of Smithfield, Pamela Bekier of Johnston and Bruce Vanasse of North Providence; and her siblings, Faith LaRocque of Somerset, MA and Joseph Finlay of Burrilville. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and great nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the RI Cancer Society.
