It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Danita M. Spameni (Smithfield, Rhode Island), born in East Greenwich, Rhode Island, who passed away on June 5, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Daniel T.; her husband Peter; and her sibling Walter B. Clarke, Sr.. She is survived by: her parent Catherine V. Clarke (O'Brien); her children, Kathy Spameni of Smithfield, Karen Miller (Charles) of Smithfield, Peter Spameni of Smithfield and Paul Spameni (Kathy) of Barrington; her grandchildren, Ryan Miller, Rachel Miller and Lily Spameni; and her siblings, Thomas E. Clarke of North Kingstown and Beatrice Smith. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers and in keeping with Danita's wishes, the family asks that donations be made to Special Olympics Rhode Island, 370 George Washington Hwy, Smithfield, RI 02917-1921.
