With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Christopher W. Moreau of Smithfield, Rhode Island, who passed away on October 30, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Heidi J. Moreau (Handrigan); his parents, Wayne A. Moreau and Cheryl A. Moreau (Gobin) of North Providence; his sons, Michael C. Moreau of Smithfield and Sean E. Moreau of Smithfield; his brothers, Keith A. Moreau (Suzanne) of North Scituate and Nathan E. Moreau (Jillian) of Coventry; his nieces and nephews, Hayden, Sarah, Max, Hannah Ross, Giovan, Grace Mokillo, Brendon, Kimberly Moreau, Emma and Lucas Moreau; his parents-in-law, Earl Handrigan of Scituate, Glenn and Elizabeth Graham of Smithfield; and his siblings-in-law, Charles, Heather Ross of Smithfield and Jodi Mokillo of Smithfield.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Wesley United Methodist Church, or a charity of your choice.

“Chris was 'Doc' to me. We worked together many years ago and carpooled in the car he affectionately called the pony. As the years went by we only caught up through an occasional check in while he was sitting in an airport somewhere. He was always kind, thoughtful and so funny. He is every quality that you think of when you say someone is a good man and . He will be sorely missed.”
