She was predeceased by: her spouse Rene O. Messier; her parents, Alfred Laverdiere and Eva Laverdiere (Lambert); and her sibling Jean Spolidoro. She is survived by: her children, Rosemary Howard (Arthur), Allen Messier (Sandy), Richard Messier (Sue Brumbaugh) and Gail Hall (Allan); her grandchildren, Karen, David, Jarret, Raigan, Amber, Andrew, Joshua and Sara; and her siblings, Alfred Laverdiere and Rita Howard. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
